Bridgette grew up in Victoria and moved to Queensland to pursue university studies. She graduated with a degree in Wildlife Science and after some time working in and out of Africa, completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 2018.
After working at a local equine stud farm during university, Bridgette developed a keen interest in equine surgery. She went on to complete externships in large animal surgery in the United States and started her career as a veterinarian at Camden Equine Centre in December 2018, with a goal to pursue a residency in large animal surgery. She has a special interest in equine wound management and is undertaking a research study within this area during her internship.
When she isn’t at work, you can find her cooking up a feast or winding down at the beach, where she feels most at home and connected to nature.
